The goal is to establish partnerships with automotive manufacturers, suppliers and other subcontractors to provide them the opportunity to develop, along with Transatel, a comprehensive strategy for embedded connectivity based on the SIM901 technology.
This promising new market is growing very rapidly and requires responsiveness and creativity.
Reporting to the World Sales Director as well as senior management, this job will require high business development skills:
- Market Analysis: Players, competition, country specificities
- Monitoring Business Models and technologies evolutions
- Development of an embedded connectivity strategy in synergy with each partner
- Monitoring the partnership implementation and its effectiveness (account management)
Transatel is growing rapidly and this position offers significant opportunities for development (missions, country, level of responsibility).
The position is located at Transatel headquarters in Puteaux, France, with occasional trips expected within France and abroad.
Master’s degree from a business or engineering school or even better, training in both, with a particular focus on new technologies and/or telecommunications.
With your experience and significant knowledge of the automotive/transportation industry, you know all of the commercial constraints and regulations inherent to this sector.
Experience in embedded connectivity is a plus.
Transatel is prepared to consider a broad spectrum of candidates, however, they must have a minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in marketing and/or sales in telecommunication technologies or the sectors mentioned above (consumer devices, automotive, etc.).
Autonomy, curiosity, analytical abilities (business plan), ability to summarize (policy recommendations) and communication skills (presentation / write)
Languages: English fluency is required, other languages are a plus
Microsoft Office, especially Excel
