Your missions

As part of the core network engineering team, taking care of the circuit nodes as well as interconnection, transmission and switching; you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Adapt the Transatel telecom network interconnections architecture to our traffic growth and customer’s need.
    • Audit of the signaling architecture and select possible equipment/solution providers
    • Drive the implementation of telecom interconnection (Mainly Voice & SMS) in relationship with our providers
    • Contribution to architecture and engineering around STP routing implementation
    • Central point on signaling routing aspects in Transatel technical environment
  • Lead the technical implementation of the new design and new components including migration of existing businesses
  • Support for the implementation and evolution of HSS, DRA, IWF network nodes
  • Expert role on the above elements with support teams
  • Ensure operability of our components for the service platform (Voice, SMS, MMS)
  • Central point for all requests coming from the Business and interface between product management and telecom team
  • Participation writing the related technical documentation
Your profile

You have a Bac+5 (postgraduate) diploma and you have at least 5/10 years’ experience in the core network domain.

The expected skills are as follow:

  • Core Network architecture design and assessment of UMTS Mobile Core Network products (HLR, MSC/VLR, SGSN, GGSN, SMSC …)
  • Technical expertise on core network nodes (HSS, MME, DRA, IWF, SGW, PGW)
  • Expertise on the different signaling flows of mobile services provided in the UMTS CS/PS domains (ISUP, MAP, CAP)
  • Expertise in Signaling routing (SIGTRAN, DIAMETER)
  • Experience in Installation, integration, tests and acceptance of HLR, HSS equipment
  • E2E technical implementation and follow-up of standard GSMA roaming agreements (IREG/TADIG)
  • Good knowledge of technical activities management
  • Good interaction with external customers and internal teams
