Your missions

IT build department include all activities related to software development, from Software design to end to end QA activities. The department is composed by 5 teams working with Agile methodology (SCRUM) and 2 QA teams working transversally including functional and automatic tests.

Within 40 people, 2 technical Leaders have a transversal responsibility in two separates streams, throughout IT build teams and whole organization.

Missions :

Working directly with department’s manager and team members, the candidate has 2 mains missions:

  • Handle technical roadmap (generally involving 2 or 3 teams) to ensure the best technical support for business roadmap
  • Support teams and ensure bests practices deployment in IT department

The candidate is responsible for helping technical teams during day-by-day tasks, while ensuring a point of contact for business and functional architects. The skill to work transversally throughout organization with different departments and different subjects will be one of the keys to success the mission.

  • As a senior developer the candidate will be an operational developer, explaining projects, Software architecture, coding and troubleshoot issues if necessary.
  • As an engineering manager he will work closely with architects, technical and functional managers to advice solutions and take decisions.

Detailed Tasks and deliverables

– Technical roadmap

  • Committed to technical roadmap, highlighting improvements on IT Software architecture, frameworks, or strategies.
  • Ensuring coherence on technical roadmap topics (relationship between requirements), Back and front developpement with different languages and architectures
  • Presenting technical projects throughout organization
  • Deliverables:
    • Technical roadmap with priorities.
    • Technical architecture documents for transversal project.
    • Maintenance strategy for technical stack.
    • Upgrade or migration Strategy (where required).
    • Feasibility documents for transversal project with risks and a macro estimation.
    • Discovery reports and related action plans.

– Technical Leadership

  • Participate to define best practices (Related to Software architecture and lifecycle, documentation, and tools), ensure code Review with teams to follow them
  • Promote innovation, collaboration on frameworks and whole Software lifecycle
  • Deliverables:
    • Technical guidelines’ documentation.
    • Presentations to introduce and promote new technical innovation.
Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

5+ years of experience designing and developing software solutions

Very good experience on Java frameworks (Spring), good knowledge on React.

Good knowledge on relational database and NoSqL Databases (Elasticsearch) with experience on performance issues.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative working style

Excellent communication, with a good written and spoken English
