OQ Technology and Transatel collaborate for Global Satellite 5G IoT Connectivity

May 6th, 2024 – In collaboration with OQ Technology (the world’s fastest-growing 5G NTN IoT LEO satellite operator), Transatel will offer a converged mobile satellite connectivity service, providing global IoT network coverage.

Transatel offers global 5G roaming, enabling Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) solutions deployment worldwide. This collaboration empowers businesses with reliable IoT services, even in previously inaccessible areas. This partnership to develop a hybrid terrestrial plus non-terrestrial network (NTN) combined solution for customers, on compatible devices using common roaming capability and also to discover common business opportunities and use cases by both parties.
