Your missions

Become an innovator at Transatel and the guarantor of a scalable, robust and efficient network!

Within the Technical Department, you will be a reference on the architecture of the Transatel network. You will have to design the technical roadmap in accordance with the company’s strategy. The definition of the architecture of the Telecom platforms will require the mastery of the various use-cases and the identification of the interfaces between functional subsets but also the ability to specify the internal development needs for the service bricks or adaptations that Transatel develops internally.

You will work mainly with the experts of the various components, business teams, partners and suppliers. You will influence the projects to align them with the roadmap and carry the desired technical evolutions. You have significant experience with a Telecom supplier.

In this context:

You will first need to understand and master the core voice (HSS/HLR, GMSC, SBC, …), core data (PGW, PCRF, OCS, …) and services (SMSC, Application Servers, …) architectures of mobile networks. You don’t accept not knowing everything and are constantly on the lookout for new technology in your sector
You will have to understand the specificities of Transatel, in particular its capacity to provide its own Telecom technology to best adapt to the needs of its customers, at the best cost / time
You will lead studies, at the pre-project and project stage and will be the guarantor of the best architecture for the short and medium/long term. You will rely on experts in each field and your own knowledge.
You will validate the coherence of the current architecture and propose improvements that will set a target to be shared with the business and development teams. This target will be built from the business and technical strategies.
Once the target is defined, you will propose a roadmap of components and features that you will maintain.
You will define the technical architecture standards (writing documentation and deisgn rules, urbanization).
You will take care of the security, availability and performance aspects of the solutions in order to comply with our commitments (ISO 27001 certification for example) and our ambitions.
You will have to document each of the subjects and get the different actors to adhere to your strategic approach.
Your natural curiosity will allow you to be attentive to the evolutions of the industry.
You may be required to work on pre-sales missions, to dialogue with customers, suppliers, partners or prospects and to participate in the development of business cases.
Thanks to your experience, your understanding of various technologies, your ability to lead groups and your charisma, you are a reference for your colleagues. You communicate and synthesize the best ideas and win support through your sense of teamwork.

Your profile

You have a software or telecom engineering background, including significant experience in a medium-sized manufacturer.

You have at least 10 years of experience in telecommunications, particularly in core mobile network architecture.

You are able to use your creativity while maintaining a perfect rigor. You have successfully designed and developed Telecom network solutions.

You are familiar with the product and service ranges of manufacturers of core telecom network platforms (Ericsson, Huawei, Affirmed, etc.)

You are able to communicate with the different actors of the company, both verbally and in writing. Your sense of service and your team spirit allow you to be a force for structured proposals.

You are organized but also at ease in a very dynamic environment, and know how to manage your time and your priorities in a context of frequent requests.

Fluency in English is essential for this position.
