Your missions

Reporting to the DTSI, you will manage a portfolio of technical projects, and steer these projects directly with the contributors from the various teams, working cross-functionally.

The projects cover a wide range of areas: security, infrastructure, reliability, telecoms, IT, etc.

The size and stakes of the projects vary, from a simple action plan to be coordinated, to an ambitious overhaul project.

Projects are prioritised according to your management skills and the skills of the teams involved.

You will work cross-functionally with all the technical teams, from application development to telecoms engineering, via infrastructure, security and operations.

You will have the support of all the managers in these different teams, and the backing of the DTSI.

Through your actions, projects and influence, you will help to improve the maturity of all the teams and the quality of their technical assets.

Your main tasks are :

Managing and supervising projects in the field

Identifying stakeholders and influencing the project governance set up to achieve project objectives.
Manage the implementation and monitoring of progress in order to prevent any slippage in terms of deadlines and workloads, assess the “work still to be done”, and take the necessary action to meet the deadlines and budget defined at the scoping stage.
Manage third-party partners where appropriate.
Identifying risks and mitigation solutions throughout the project and raising potential alarms.
Carrying out standard project communication with the various stakeholders.
Organising the project handover phase to the Operations teams.

Responsibility for the technical content of the project

Participating in the choice of technical and software solutions (conceptual and architectural) in collaboration with the contributing teams.
Guaranteeing the compliance and viability of the solution by ensuring that the various phases of the project run smoothly.
Assessing the technical risks of the solution and leading the associated action plans.

Project portfolio management

You maintain visibility over all the projects you manage
With the help of the DTSI, you manage the priorities of the various projects, raising the alarm in the event of a lack of capacity among contributors
You will identify potential candidate projects in your discussions with managers, and maintain a backlog to commit to when capacity permitsThe projects you manage will also help to standardise our project and delivery methodologies. As such, you will be able to :

Contribute to the continuous improvement process around Transatel project methodologies and deliverables.
Contribute to improving the delivery methods of the contributing teams.

Your profile

With a minimum of 5 years’ higher education in Telecommunications or IT, you have 5 years’ experience, including at least 3 years in Technical Project Management (Infrastructure and/or IT and/or Mobile Network Core).

Experience / Skills :

Mastery of project management techniques (Gantt, Pert, financial and technical progress, etc.)
Security and infrastructure projects, and/or IT projects, and/or mobile core network projects
Management of a portfolio of several projects in parallel
PMI/PMP certification or PMP training is a plus
Fluency in written and spoken English imperative
